We are now seeing all new patients face to face at the Spire clinics for initial consultations. Zoom and telephone consultations are available at patients’ request, but we usually reserve these for routine follow ups. We would like the opportunity to meet patients face to face and examine them before listing for surgery. All patients will be asked to wear a face mask provided by Spire on arrival to the site. Social distancing measures are in place in the waiting areas. Please be aware that patients are currently (as of November 2021) still advised to self isolate prior to a procedure (time depending on risk assessment) and to carry out a COVID19 lateral flow test at home 72 hours prior to admission. There is no current guidance on when or if this will change in the future.
